Unveiling the secret project:Wednesday, 1 May, 2002 13:15Rockin'-VR is the application for Sega Saturn I'm working on for so long. Of course it's far from being finished, but it will come out definitly. I have opened a Rockin'-VR section where you can find first screenshots and other related information. To make a short description: when finished, it will allow to view and create(!!) 3D environments and games on Saturn. For doing this, Rockin'-VR implements the VRML97 specification. So you may compare it(partially) with that GameBasic that was sold in japan. When it's out, it will be a major step forward in Saturn development and it will give rebirth to my most beloved console: the Sega Saturn. For interested people: if you want to run the test-app. the screenshots were made from, email me and I'll send it to you. So you can have a look at it running on a real Saturn. |
