A little breakthrough in testing apps.Tuesday, 26 February, 2002 23:03Yeah, I did it! It has been two month ago when I got my EMS Action Replay 4M plus + comslink card driven PC <--> Saturn connection, but unfortunately, I was unable to upload and execute files to Saturn. So some days ago, I examined that issue again and found out, that the files I upload get a little bit corrupted from time to time. My last chance to solve the problem was to buy a shorter cable and surprisingly it worked! My old cable simply was to long for save data transmission. By the way, has anyone else noticed, that the Saturn plays a game without to check/boot the security ring of the game-cd when you insert the game disc into Saturn and supply the binary executable via that PC <--> Saturn connection? Cool, eh? Also, this update was made using nothing else than my deamcast...bye. |
